Pet Merging
Welcome to one of the most exciting feature of Gunstar Metaverse.
While earning from GSC is great, what is more attractive is the ability merge pets. New species of pets will be introduce this way.
So players who wants to own more pets or newer species of pets have to either merge their pets using the Pet Fragments or buy it from the marketplace.
How To Merge
Pet Merging would be a 2 step process
Getting the required Pet Fragments and Merge into Pet Soul by paying $GSC.
Players with Pet Soul can mint the pet with $GST directly, the stats will be finalized during minting.
Fragments Needed
Pets of different rarities require a different number of fragments.
For example, Woruffing, a pet with Normal Rarity will need 50 Woruffing Fragments and GSC to merge into Pet Soul.
For example, Bawaving, a pet with Epic Rarity will need 110 Bawaving Fragments and GSC to merge into Pet Soul.
Rarity | Fragments Needed |
---|---|
Ascend | ?? |
Legendary | ?? |
Mythic | ?? |
Elite | 110 |
Rare | 80 |
Normal | 50 |
Getting The Pet Soul
After you have finished collecting all the Pet Fragments, you will need to Merge the Pet Fragments into a Pet Soul using GSC.
The more GSC is used, the higher the chances of success. If the merge fails, the Pet Fragments and GSC used will be deducted.
If the merge fails, the Pet Fragments and GSC used will be deducted. This is to give players with lesser GSC a chance to get a pet.
The amount of GSC used is highly dependent on the high average USD value of the pets sold per rarity for the last 10 days.
If the value of the pet sold gets too low, the cost of merging will increase to reduce the supply. This is to help reinforce the value of the pets as no one wants the value of their pets to drop to zero due to the inflation of the supply of pets.
If the value of the pet sold gets too high, the cost of merging will decrease slightly to increase the supply. This is to help ensure the price of the pet does not go up too far too fast. Striving for a balance between affordability and value protection.
The numbers are subjected to changes following the GSC value on the market that is updated automatically at 00:00 UTC+0
Below is a example for the cost of GSC to merge the pet. It is NOT a fixed number and should be taken as such.
